Ycode is available three ways: free forever as Self-host open source, paid per-project on Ycode Cloud, or under a flat workspace subscription on the Agency Workspace plan. All three share the same editor, CMS, forms, localization, and integrations — they differ only in hosting, billing, and white-label features.

Self-host

Ycode Open Source is free forever. Fork the repository , deploy on Vercel, connect Supabase, and you own the entire stack.

Included

  • Full source code access and the right to modify it
  • Custom domains
  • Unlimited users, pages, CMS items, form entries, and languages
  • Community support on Discord  and GitHub

What you provide

  • A Vercel deployment (or any compatible host)
  • A Supabase project for the database, authentication, and storage
  • Any optional services you wire in (email, analytics, custom integrations)

See Deployment for the full self-hosting guide.

Cloud

Ycode Cloud is the managed offering: hosting, updates, SSL, and a global CDN are all handled for you. Each Cloud project carries its own subscription.

IntervalPrice per project
Annual$25/month (billed yearly)
Monthly$30/month

Included on every Cloud project

  • Fully managed Ycode hosting with automatic updates and maintenance
  • Global CDN and fast edge delivery
  • Custom domains
  • Unlimited users, pages, form entries, and languages
  • Up to 20,000 CMS items per project
  • Community and email support

Projects start on Free with the full editor and CMS. Upgrade per project when you need a paid feature (most commonly a custom domain). See Billing for how to subscribe and manage a project subscription through the Stripe Customer Portal.

You can keep an unlimited number of free Cloud projects. They retain the full editor and CMS — only paid features like custom domains are gated until you subscribe.

Agency Workspace

Agency Workspaces are designed for studios and freelancers running multiple client sites under one brand. One subscription covers every project inside the workspace, and the dashboard is fully white-labelled.

IntervalPrice per workspace
Annual$70/month (billed yearly)
Monthly$85/month

Included

  • Unlimited Cloud projects under a single subscription — no per-project Stripe charges
  • White-label dashboard and builder with your own light/dark logos and agency name in the browser tab
  • Custom agency domain for the dashboard so clients and team members log in at your URL
  • Multi-user workspace with Owner, Admin, and Editor roles spanning every project
  • All the Cloud feature set: managed hosting, automatic updates, CDN, SSL, custom domains, unlimited users, pages, form entries, and languages

See Workspaces for the full agency workflow — creating a workspace, configuring branding and domains, inviting the team, and transferring projects between personal and agency workspaces.

Billing Intervals

Both Cloud and Agency Workspace subscriptions offer monthly and annual billing. Annual saves roughly 18% versus paying month-to-month.

  • Cloud project: $30/mo monthly → $25/mo annual
  • Agency Workspace: $85/mo monthly → $70/mo annual

You pick the interval at checkout. To switch later, open the Stripe Customer Portal from the project’s Billing details menu (Cloud) or the workspace Billing page (Agency) — the portal lets you change interval, update payment methods, download invoices, and cancel.

Switching Between Plans

Plans aren’t locked. You can move between them at any time:

  • Cloud Free → Cloud Paid — Subscribe per project from the project menu’s Billing details.
  • Cloud Paid → Cloud Free — Cancel the project’s subscription in the Stripe Customer Portal. The project keeps editing access on free; paid features lock until you resubscribe.
  • Cloud (personal workspace) → Agency Workspace — Create an agency workspace, then move projects in from the dashboard. Each project’s per-project subscription is cancelled automatically and replaced by the workspace plan. See Transferring Projects.
  • Agency Workspace → Cloud (personal workspace) — Move projects back to a personal workspace. Each one reverts to free; subscribe per project to keep paid features. Custom domains block this transfer until removed.
  • Cloud → Self-host — Use Backup & Restore to export a project from Cloud and import it into a self-hosted Ycode instance.
  • Self-host → Cloud — The same backup/restore flow works the other way.

Limits and Notes

  • CMS items — Self-host is unlimited. Cloud projects (free or paid) are capped at 20,000 items per project. Agency Workspace projects inherit the Cloud per-project limit.
  • Custom domains — Available on Self-host, paid Cloud projects, and every Agency Workspace project. Free Cloud projects use the *.ycode.website subdomain.
  • Users — Every plan is unlimited. Personal workspaces use per-project teams (Teams); Agency Workspaces use a single workspace-wide team.
  • Pages, form entries, and languages — Unlimited on every plan.
  • Support — Community on all plans; email support on Cloud and Agency Workspace.
  • Legacy customers — If you migrated from Ycode Legacy, your existing subscription and price carry over automatically. See the legacy note in Billing.
